Death Valley 69
From HtownWiki
Death Valley 69 were a bassless rock'n'roll threepiece, circa 2000-2002. They released one EP, Sex Vinyl, on seven-inch vinyl. The song Dirty 33 was released on the 2001 compilation Year Zero.
You've got to assume that they named themselves after the 1984 Sonic Youth song.
