Downstairs Oranga
From HtownWiki

Downstairs Oranga was a popular venue on campus in the early to mid-1990s, and has been used for gigs dating back to the late 1970s. In 1992 and 1993 it went under the name Club Uni. Included among the many that played there were Citizen Band, Topp Twins, Netherworld Dancing Toys, Chris Knox, David Kilgour, Cakekitchen, Hoola Troupe (supporting poet Sam Hunt), Luke Hurley, 3 on a Meathook. It later became a failed McDonald's franchise; the WSU at the time (see comment under Wailing Bongo) believed this would provide cheap food for students. It was briefly used as a venue once again in the mid 2000s, later becoming a food hall again, and today houses a commercial business.
